“Together with the project developer, I’m active as the Standard Bearer for the SmartPort Roadmap Smart Logistics. We work ambitiously and eagerly at transitions for a sustainable and reliable port logistics, thus paying special attention to opportunities automation and digitalisation offer. We do the job in collaboration with the requisitioners from private and public organisations, and with researchers and students. I’m professor Ports in Global Networks at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) with an over twenty years of experience in developing, sharing and applying academic knowledge. Besides this position, I’m science director of the Executive Masters Customs and Supply Chain Compliance and Maritime Economics & Logistics.”
